Aguilera has decided to release "You Lost Me" as the official second single instead if previous announced single, "WooHoo." After the lackluster success of "Not Myself Tonight," her label has decided to go the safe route and chose a ballad that focusses on her voice instead of her sex. "WooHoo" was decided before the album release and after the weak sales of "Bionic," RCA decided against another sex-obsessed single.
Like her past albums, Aguilera has had much success with ballads as the second single. For 2002's "Stripped" she released "Beautiful" after "Dirrty" stalled and again on 2006's "Back To Basics" she chose "Hurt" after "Ain't No Other Man."
Let's hope this single choice was right. I would have loved "Lift Me Up" or "I Am" as the next single, because it sounds more radio-friendly. The new album is great and I hope to see at least five singles. After "You Got Me" I hope to see "Woo Hoo," "Elastic Love" and "Lift Me Up." But, "Desnudate" could also be a huge hit for her.
