Kelis Releases '4th Of July'

Kelis is set to release her second single off her fifth studio album, 'Flesh Tone' which was released on May 17 in the UK.  The album won't be released until July 6 in North America.


'4th of July (Fireworks)' will be released on June 21 to radio while the digital release won't happen until July 5. The music video is set to premiere in late June.


I like this track but I wouldn't have chosen it to follow the brilliant 'Acapella.' I hope the album get's at least five singles, if so than this is a great single choice.  Of the other seven tracks I hope she releases in this order: 'Scream,' '22nd Century' and than last 'Home.'
