Royksopp are set to release a companion piece to their third studio album, "Junior" which was released on March 23, 2009.
The companion piece will be titled "Senior" and will be released in the fall. The new album has been described as an introspective, withdrawn, atmospheric counterpart to energetic Junior. Röyksopp described the album as having an "autumn mood" to it, while Junior has a "spring feel". One of the tracks that will be included is "The Alcoholic", described as a "nostalgic idea based on this hobo who hitchhikes on trains and travels from place to place".
"Senior" will serve as their fourth studio album.
