M.I.A. 2 Release "/\/\/\Y/\"

M.I.A. is set to release her third studio album, "/\/\/\Y/\" which stands for Maya on June 23 in Japan and July 13 in North America.


"/\/\/\Y/\" will include the promo single "Boen Free" and lead single, "XXXO." The official track listing has been released but no information on who produced the album or tracks has been given out. "/\/\/\Y/\" is following the usual routine for an M.I.A. album, the first, "Arular" was named after her father while her second was named after her mother "Kala."
