Coldplay Set to Rock Stadiums Once Again

Coldplay are set to release their 4th studio effort 'Viva La Vida or Death and all His Friends' on June 17, 2008. The band will go on a worldwide tour this summer and fall in support of the album.

Coldplay's 'Viva La Vida world tour' -- which will land in North America, Europe and Japan -- is set to begin at Philadelphia's Wachovia Center on June 29 and extend well into 2009.

Ticket prices are still being determined, but a three-tiered pricing strategy is likely, with prices roughly in the $50, $65 and $85 range.

The Canadian Dates for 'Viva La Vida World Tour' are:

July 27: Pemberton, BC (Pemberton Festival)
July 29: Edmonton, AB (Rexall Place)
July 30: Calgary, AB (Pengrowth Saddledome)
August 1: Winnipeg, MB (MTS Centre)
October 20: Montreal, QC (Bell Centre)
October 21: Ottawa, ON, (Scotiabank Place)
October 29: Toronto, ON (Air Canada Centre)
October 30: Toronto, ON (Air Canada Centre)

That's right they will have two stops in Toronto at the Air Canada Centre on October 29th and 30th 2008. If those dates sell out I am sure they will add another because there are three days in between their stop in Toronto and Boston when they play Boston on November 3, 2008.
