The Black Eyed Peas are set to release their third single, 'Don't Stop The Party' from their sixth studio album 'The Beginning.'
The uptempo 'Don't Stop The Party' was chosen to follow the mid-tempo single, 'Just Can't Get Enough.' The new single is one of of favourites from the album, so I am thrilled. It will be a great choice for the summer. I see it following in the previous two singles footsteps. Another Top 5 single.
I really hope they decide to release 'Light Up The Night' for the fall and 'XOXOXO' in late 2011.
Lykke Li is set to release her third single from her sophomore album, 'Wounded Rhymes.'
'Sadness is a Blessing' has been chosen and is perfect. It's a fan-favourite and a favourite of mine. The single will go to UK radio on June 6. While the music video leaked in early May. The EP which will included remixes will be released in mid-June.
I have loved all three single choices, I hope she decides to release at least two more singles. I would hope for both 'Rich Kids Blues' and 'Youth Knows No Pain.'
Nicki Minaj is set to release her fourth North American single off her debut album, 'Pink Friday.'
'Super Bass' which features Ester Dean on the chorus will be released to radio on June 1. The music video premiered in mid-May. The song is climbing up the charts fast and is already #22 on the Billboard 100.
'Super Bass' follows 'Moment 4 Life,' 'Right Thru Me' and 'Your Love.' The single is only included on the deluxe edition of 'Pink Friday.' In Europe the fourth single is 'Girls Fall Like Dominoes.'
This is a great choice for the summer, a great song which is very radio-friendly. I am still waiting for 'Fly' and 'Blazin' to be chosen as singles.
Dev is set to release her second official single from her debut album, 'The Night The Sun Came Up' which is expected in July 2011.
The second single, 'In The Dark' follows the lead single, 'Bass Down Low' which became a huge hit in 2010. Her debut single, 'Booty Bounce' will also be included on the debut album, but was not officially released.
'In The Dark' was released digitally on April 26. It will be released to radio on June 7 while the music video will follow in late June. This is the perfect track for summer. I've had it since it leaked in March and I think it will do quite well.
