FOX Renewed 'The Following'

FOX has renewed its freshman serial horror drama, 'The Following' starring Kevin Bacon for a second season.

The series premiered to over 10 million viewers which is on par with last season's mid-season premiere of 'Alcatraz.' The show had bottomed out around the eight million mark but has steadily been raising in viewership over the past couple weeks. FOX has a lot of faith the viewers will stick with the series for the entire first season. Last season saw 'Alcatraz' start out strong and then fizzle out for the finale.

Here is a list of the last five-aired episodes:

Episode 03 - The Poet's Fire - February 4 - 9.01 million viewers

Episode 04 - Mad Love - February 11 - 7.79 million viewers

Episode 05 - The Siege - February 18 - 8.39 million viewers

Episode 06 - The Fall - February 25 - 8.58 million viewers

Episode 07 - Let Me Go - March 4 - 8.81 million viewers

The season finale will air on April 29, 2013. The second season will premiere again during mid-season in January 2014. FOX has decided to renew the series for another 15 episodes to enure no breaks or re-runs, which seems to be working for the first season.

'The Mindy Project' Renewed By FOX

FOX has renewed its freshman hit comedy, 'The Mindy Project' starring Mindy Kaling and Chris Messina for a second season.

The series premiered to almost five million viewers which is pretty low for a new series. With DVR/PVR playback and internet viewing it was actually seen by nearly 10 million viewer. The show had bottomed out around the three million mark but has steadily been raising in viewership over the past couple weeks. With a one-hour comedy block paired with 'New Girl' the series has been able to retain almost all of NG's viewers.

Here is a list of the last five-aired episodes:

Episode 12 - Hooking Up is Hard - January 22 - 3.05 million viewers

Episode 13 - Harry & Sally - January 29 - 3.20 million viewers

Episode 14 - Harry & Mindy - February 5 - 3.60 million viewers

Episode 15 - Mindy' Minute - February 19 - 3.05 million viewers

Episode 16 - The One That Got Away - February 26 - 3.26 million viewers

The season finale will air on May 7, 2013. No word on how many episodes have been ordered for season two, but the usual 22-24 episodes seems right.

'Raising Hope' Gets 4th Season Renewal

FOX has renewed its family comedy, 'Raising Hope' starring Martha Plimpton and Cloris Leachman for a fourth season.

The third season premiered to nearly four million viewers which is off from the six million for season two. The show had bottomed out around the three million mark but has been steady over the lat few weeks.

Here is a list of the last five-aired episodes:

Episode 16 - Yo Zappa Do (Part 2) - February 5 - 3.87 million viewers

Episode 17 - Sex, Clown and Videotape - February 5 - 3.53 million viewers

Episode 19 - Making the Band - February 26 - 3.53 million viewers

Episode 20 - The Old Girl - February 26 - 3.12 million viewers

The season three finale will air this month. No word on how many episodes have been ordered but the usual 22-24 episodes seems right.

FOX Renewed 'New Girl' For 3rd Season

FOX has renewed its sophomore hit comedy, 'New Girl' starring Zooey Deschanel for a third season.

The second season premiered to over five million viewers which is exactly half of what the series premiere brought in September 11. The show had bottomed out around the three million mark but has steadily been raising in viewership over the past couple weeks.

Here is a list of the last five-aired episodes:
Episode 14 - Pepperwood - January 22 - 4.05 million viewers
Episode 15 - Cooler - January 29 - 4.74 million viewers
Episode 16 - Table 34 - February 5 - 4.83 million viewers
Episode 17 - Parking Spot - February 19 - 4.31 million viewers
